Where do I find Love/light?

– video transcript

Hello and welcome. In this week’s video, something that I want to go over is the question of how do I find or where do I find love? It was a question that came up after last week’s video and I thought it was so good that I wanted to take it with me into this week’s video.

So… Where do I find Love/light?

The very simple answer to that question is that you don’t.

You don’t find it.

What you do is you recognise it or you acknowledge it.

The reason you don’t find love anywhere is because that is an ego trap constructed in a way so that it seems as though you are missing something, missing love. So if I am missing love – if you’re missing love – then it’s got to be something that we’re going to go look for out there. What that does is that sends you on an endless search for love whether it be romantic love or just between family or friends. It doesn’t really matter because it becomes a frantic search of finding something, a missing piece within ourselves. There’s nothing missing in you right now.

Dissolve the blocks…

What you have to do is dissolve the blocks to your experience of being loved. Because you are loved. No matter whether or not you can see or feel it right now, you are that love. So how do you dissolve the blocks to your experience of being loved, being connected? Well, that is a question of you continually moving from fear to love. So that means that whenever you experience hatred or anger or jealousy or any of those emotions coming up in you and most likely they’re towards yourself or you hear a voice going on inside your head, what you need to do is stop for a moment and listen. Once you start to listen to those voices and hear what they really have to say, know that underneath that is something inside of you that knew that you are not those voices. That is not you. There’s a different part of you. There’s a part of you that’s love.

So you dissolve those by listening, by witnessing, but by not going with them, by not staying attached to them, by letting them drift. Something that has been very helpful for me is meditation. It’s quiet, going to a quiet space the first thing in the morning when you wake up and just be. That is probably the hardest thing you can ask anybody to do because in this world that we live in, our egos thrive on all of the external things going on. So returning to ourselves and taking time to ourselves is really the greatest gift that you can give yourself, if you’re on the path of wanting to dissolve the blocks towards you experiencing yourself as being a light, as being love.

That was all from me this week. I hope you enjoyed this video. Feel free to share it with your friends and family and your network if you want to. I’ll be back next week.

I love you.
