There is no secret
You may have noticed that what I teach is very simple.
There are no bells or whistles, no glitter or glamour, no tricks or secrets.
Love is simple.
Simple.
Simple however does not necessarily equate easy.
In fact quite the opposite.
Because in this world of ours we’ve been conditioned to look for the easy, quick fixes outside of ourselves and so once you begin your awakening you have work to do.
- Work of feeling the depths of your feelings without attaching judgement.
- Work of allowing limiting beliefs, no matter how stale or dark, to surface so that you may heal them.
- Work of learning to sit in silence.
- Work of listening with your inner ear, see with your inner eyes.
- Work of cleaning up, clearing out and creating a sacred space for you to embody you full divine self.
- Work of acting rather than reacting.
All of which is only possible through love.

Too simple
I was recently contact by someone who screamingly (as screaming as you can be in an email with ALL CAPS) informed me that what I was teaching was TOO obvious, TOO simple.
Having downloaded one of my free guides I was angrily informed that this person needed another solution. Something else, something more. Because this persons issue was simply not solved by something SO obvious and simple as breathing. Oh no! No no no no no.
Now it would have been easy to simply discard this person because of their apparent anger directed at me and most of the world would agree with this notion. Instead reminded me of this quote from A Course in Miracles:
“Those who attack do not know they are blessed. They attack because they believe they are deprived.”
Believing ourselves deprived, in what ever our situation may be we do not realise that we already have everything. Until the moment when we are done. Until the moment we choose love.
Remember when I said simple does not equate easy?
Choosing to know that all is well when you’re smack in the middle of raging fear, panic or desperation, choosing to breathe deeply and focus only on that IS NOT EASY. It is hard, god damn hard!
But it is the way.
Nor is it easy to, in the words of Michelle Obama to “go high, when they go low.”
But it is the way.
Before reaching out to me this person had, in their own words reached out to many many of “us gurus” and stated that we all shared the same story. But rather than realising that the reason we all share the same story is because we are one, united by love, this person was hellbent on seeing themselves as separate and alone. Desperately wanting to know our secret.
There is no secret.
No hidden answer that you can only get to if you pass a test or are good enough for long enough. Anyone committed to truth and the Way of Love will tell you that.
The reason we all share the same story is simply because it is the way.
The reason love is at the core of all great teachings and teachers is because it’s the truth. Pure and simple. You can ignore it. Deny it for as long as you want, nothing will change it.
But when you are ready, so too is Love.

No one is ever left behind.
No one is ever too late or not enough.
Neither are you.
Even with my years of work and training I am still always struck by the viciousness of the ego.
While its claws no longer dig so deep, hold on so hard or as long I remember quite vividly, when I walked in this persons shoes.
I’ve been at the point where you’ll scream and lash at anyone and everyone most of all yourself because the pain you feel is so deep and depressing, you have to have an outlet.
While this person appeared to be lashing out at me, angry with me, screaming at me, begging me, pleading with me, I know that what they are doing to themselves are far worse.
“When a brother acts insanely, he is offering you an opportunity to bless him.”

Rather than keep up their constant (and futile) search I adviced them to go back to the very first “guru” (their word, not mine) they’d reached out to and really DO the work they’d prescribed. Because the road to hell is paved with good intentions…
If you want to get anything out of anything you’ve got to do the work…
Do.
The.
Work.
You’ve got to allow the darkness of those places within yourself, that you most want to keep hidden, that you’re ashamed of, or afraid of, to surface. Because those deep-seated limiting beliefs form your life whether it be consciously or unconsciously. Choosing to see with love will liberate you in a way nothing else ever will or can.
While this person may not be ready to listen yet, the highest within them is and so I have chosen to blast them and others who wander the same darkness, with love and prayers that their hearts may be opened, as I know others have done for me.
I hope perhaps you’d join me in doing this, because as dark as their night may be, no one is ever be lost, ever fails or can ever be without God. If you feel called, please take a moment and blast this person with love. You do not need to know them, their name or situation, God does. Send them a small prayer.

So, let me reiterate…
There is no secret and simple does not equate easy.
Love is the Way.
As easy as it would be to judge this person and simply discard the lesson I am bringing to you, instead I invite to consider how and where in your life does this play out? It may or may not be at the same level or intensity, but it’s there for you to heal if you want to.
